About Agnes

Psychiatric Nurse, therapist & mindfulness teacher

Agnes has been a mindfulness practitioner for 11 years. She discovered meditation during a challenging period of stress and anxiety in her teens. Since then she has participated in many training courses and retreats in order to deepen her knowledge of meditation and maximise the benefits of her practice.

Motivated by a desire to help relieve the psychological suffering of others, she pursued a career in Mental Health nursing. She graduated with distinction from Robert Gordon's University, Aberdeen, in 2013 and has since gained a considerable amount of therapeutic experience. She has worked with all age groups, with a range of mental health issues and other forms of psychological stress in community and in-patient facilities.

Agnes has experienced first hand the benefit for psychological problems of mindfulness; she has used this knowledge to develop robust, evidence based treatment programmes which she has used successfully with hundreds of patients and clients. This work focuses on mindfulness based, intentional living that can help even the most severe of mental health diagnoses

Agnes' pure, raw and truthful honesty is one of her greatest assets and what makes her such a great ambassador for mental health and mindfulness practice.
